Definition of PPEC
Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC). A PPEC center is a licensed, non-residential, day treatment program prescribed by a physician for medically complex and technologically dependent children. We provide SKILLED NURSING, PHYSICAL , OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPY as per physician orders.
Who We Are At Bright Smiles Pedicare
At our center children with complex medical needs receive specialized health care by classroom-based registered nurses, based on physician's orders. Nurses detect and address medical issues, collaborate with other health care professionals, respond to medical emergencies, and maintain close communication with the family and physician.
In addition to stabilizing the child's medical condition through pediatricians and onsite registered nurses, PPEC staff also strive to meet each child's unique medical, developmental, physical, nutritional, and social needs.Children may attend up to 12 hours a day with a physician's prescription.

Payment for PPEC services is covered 100% by Medicaid.
Transportation services with pick-up and drop-off the children as needed.
